NC Christmas tree going to White House (The Charlotte Observer)
Another North Carolina-grown tree from Ashe County will be displayed
in the White House during Christmas holidays this year. The North Carolina
Department of Agriculture said Friday that a Fraser fir grown by River
Ridge Farms of Crumpler will grace the White House Blue Room this year.
It's the third time in four years a North Carolina fir has been selected.
